World trade center site from 7 world trade center

Sad to walk around the wtc site all these years later, but nice to see progress on the memorial being made. Just had a crazy thought: at some point I'm going to have to talk to my daughter about that day.

Jason, I am right there with you on that realization. I was pretty fortunate, I landed 9/10 in Richmond VA (from Sacramento) and had a hard time getting home but that was nothing compared to what others endured. My wife was pregnant with my daughter at the time.

I know exactly what you mean. Ever since that day I've had it in the back of my mind that someday I would have to talk to my children about those events, specially my second boy who was born a couple of hours after the towers collapsed.
